I too felt angry about the wrongful demolition of people’s homes and its impact on their lives. My Grandad was an Ovenell, as mentioned in the programme, and I spent many hours listening to his stories of Reginald Road, Idonia Street, the cockles and winkles and the two Ovenell families in Deptford.
